Privacy
What we keep
- If you make an account: your email, a scrambled (hashed) version of your password, the name and critter you pick, and the poems and notes you post.
- If you post anonymously without an account: a guest login with no email, tied to what you post so we can handle abuse and keep your own pending posts showing for you.
What other readers see
Signed poems and notes show your name and critter. Anonymous ones show neither, and the public part of the site never reveals who wrote them. Moderators can see which account an anonymous post came from, so we can deal with illegal or abusive material.
Your email
It's used for signing in and password resets only. It is never shown on the site.
This page describes how the site is built. Have a lawyer check it before you launch publicly, and add the contact details you want to be reachable at.
